Dr. Cohen received his medical degree in 1990 from George Washington University, where he graduated “with distinction” in the top 10% of his class. He then served his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center, with a special interest in cardiovascular risk prevention. Dr. Cohen is Board-Certified in Internal Medicine and a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine. Since 2003, he has consistently received national recognition as one of the “Best Doctors in America,” as selected by physician colleagues. Dr. Cohen is married with three children, is an avid sports fan and during his free time enjoys outdoor activities with his family and friends.
Dr. Ricca received his medical degree from Washington University School of Medicine, St. Louis, Missouri, in 1996. During that same year, he was elected to the national medical honor society, Alpha Omega Alpha. In 1999 he completed his internship and residency in Internal Medicine at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. After residency, he has been involved in the education of another generation of doctors as a clinical instructor at the University of Colorado Health Sciences Center. Dr. Ricca is a Diplomate of the American Board of Internal Medicine, and he is particularly interested in the prevention of cardiovascular disease. Since 2003, he has consistently received national recognition as one of the “Best Doctors in America,” as selected by physician colleagues.
Dr. Ricca grew up outside of Chicago, in Glen Ellyn, Illinois. He enjoys hiking, photography, and spending time with his wife, daughter, and dog.
Amy keeps her finger on the pulse of the practice. She has worked with Dr. Brent Cohen for several years and as a result of their shared devotion to providing an alternative healthcare experience, she has become a champion of the concierge concept. Amy is determined to ensure that each patient is provided with the highest quality service possible. From the moment you step into the center, Amy becomes your advocate for an exceptional experience.
Amy received her BA at the University of Notre Dame and went on to pursue a career in Continuing Medical Education (CME). As Operations Manager for a private education company in Littleton, she directed programs addressing the needs of primary care physicians nationally. From there she moved to the hospital setting, developing the CME program at The Medical Center of Aurora. Here, she was also actively involved with HealthONE Outreach bringing CME to rural physicians throughout Colorado and Nebraska.
After living a lifetime in Denver, Amy moved to Evergreen where she now lives with her husband and two sons. When not spending time with family and friends, Amy enjoys reading, skiing and woodworking.
With over 16 years experience as a Medical Assistant, Stacie has developed a passion for high service attention that is truly the cornerstone of the Renaissance philosophy. She has a genuine and can-do approach with patients and she’s also an exceptional phlebotomist.
As a Denver native Stacie enjoys the Colorado outdoors by making the most of camping, hiking, swimming and appreciating her great home state. In her spare time she also enjoys painting, yoga, reading and tasting new cuisines. She is also looking forward to traveling adventures at some point in her life.
Ari is likely the first person you’ll interact with when you contact our office. She began work as a Medical Assistant in 2011, and most recently was an instructor for Pima Institute‘s Medical Assistant program. Prior to that position, she worked as a MA in both the orthopedic and family practice settings. You’ll find that Ari brings an organizational and leadership skillset that is crucial for her role here as she trains, supervises, and supports our medical and administrative office staff.
Originally from Wyoming, Ari moved to Colorado in 2015. During her free time, she loves the outdoors, sports, spending time with family and having tea at the Brown Palace Hotel.
Raina has a wealth of experience administering injections, having served as lead pharmacy technician throughout the COVID-19 vaccination rollout prior to joining Renaissance. In addition to running her pharmacy’s immunization clinic, Raina is a graduate of the University of Colorado in Integrative Biology. She has expertise in quality customer service, administrative multi-tasking and navigating the prescription management system.
She is a Colorado native and when not in the office, Raina enjoys spending time with her husband and chihuahua mix rescue, Alfi. Together, they like to go on hikes and spend time with friends and family. She also loves to cook!
For as long as she could rememeber, Jannet’s goal was to be in the medical field. She achieved her certification as a Medical Assistant in 2022, graduating at the top of her class. She then completed her 6 week externship with Renaissance Medical Center and demonstrated such exceptional clinical and organizational skills, she earned a full time position with our team.
Jannet was born in Denver but raised on a farm in Zacatecas, MX. In her free time, she enjoys horseback riding with her daughter, and attending baseball games.
